Zen and Health

  • As Zen applies to  every aspect of life it will ultimately manifest in health.

One way to simplify life is in choosing our food.

Natural foods in season and local to where we live and eaten slowly are likely to be more easily digested lessening the strain on the system.

Vegetarianism lightens our footprint on the planet through lowering carbon emissions; also the need for farmed animals is lessened as well as helping us stay tuned into the spiritual concept of one-ness with all living beings.
Being a vegan or vegetarian lightens the energetic vibration allowing us to tune

into more frequencies, to hear our own intuition more clearly.

Meditation slows heart rate, lowers blood pressure and keeps our blood
chemistry  balanced reducing the effects of stress on the

physical body as well as the mind.

Prayer time can extend our consciousness into the world and beyond uniting

All in the universal matrix of Love.

Being mindful and focussing on one thing at a time, having a pause between each `do-ingness` settles the nervous system. It also opens the mind to allow full brained thinking, slows the inner systems and calms the emotions

affording better restful sleep and a simpler life.

Being Zen  helps us stay in the best health possible bearing in mind genetics, previous lifestyles, environment, relationships and our personal worldview.
